Robert Ader (February 20, 1932 – December 20, 2011) was an American psychologist and academic who co-founded psychoneuroimmunology, a field of study which explores the links connecting the brain, behavior, and the immune system. He was born in New York City.[1] Ader was a professor emeritus at the University of Rochester Medical Center.[2]
Ader died at the Highlands at Pittsford, New York, on December 20, 2011, at the age of 79.[2]
